Some possible activities include:Ice-breaker questionsThis activity helps to start off the session in a fun way. Problem Based Learning CasesThis activity gives you the opportunity to problem solve. Thickened FluidsThis activity helps you to hear what happens in the body when you drink certain liquids. Muscle StimulationThis activity gives you an opportunity to see how muscles in the body work. PlasteringThis is a fun activity where you get a chance to have a finger or a hand plastered just like if you had broken or fractured a bone in your body. It also gives you an opportunity to ask the Rural Health Club students about health professions and tertiary studies. ScrubsThis activity is a fun dress-up game where you get to mingle and find out more about all different health professions. Gutsy GusThis activity helps you to discover how much you know about the human body. StethoscopesThis activity gives you an opportunity to play around with a stethoscope and to see how it works. RoleplayThis activity gives you a chance to be creative, to problem solve and helps you to realise how many different health career roles there are and how they work together as part of a team. |
