Parent and Teacher Information SessionParents and teachers are a significant source of influence, careers advice and information to school students. Their ability to assist their children and students in career decisions can be assisted by being involved in RHSV workshop sessions and given access to current information to encourage and support their children/students’ career interests. NRHSN students will often organise a Parent and Teacher Information Session as part of the RHSV. This session is more often than not organised for during the night after the day that the RHSV session has been presented to optimise the number of parents and teacher's that are able to attend. This Information Session provides parents and teachers with the opportunity to hear your experiences as health students, ask questions, raise and address any concerns they may have. The NRHSN students can provide you with invitations and further information for this session for you to send or email out to parents and teachers so that they know when it will be on. The school is also encouraged to put an add in their school's newsletter to help in promoting this opportunity. The NRHSN students can also provide handouts for interested parents and teachers to be able to take home from the session. |
